Real estate is all apples and apples

It’s time for me to buckle down and get to work! I’ve just returned from Zihuatanejo Mexico (which was amazing) and even on vacation, people love to talk about real estate. Vacationers from everywhere were asking about the market and commenting on how crazy it is right now. My response was consistent…it’s all apples and apples. If you’re buying and selling in the same market; it doesn’t matter as long as you’re prepared…mentally and financially.

Your mortgage broker and your realtor are going to need to work together as a team to ensure everything runs smoothly. For buyers of strata, it’s important to move quickly. Get the documents asap and look for any building red flags. This is for both you and your bank. You don’t want to find out there is a large bill coming up for major work on the property. For detached homes, try and get the inspection done before writing the offer.

It’s official, Spring is here!

The weather is amazing, and all predictions are it’s going to be a fabulous summer. Many of you are getting out in the garden. Local farmers markets are opening up for the season.

Give Her Wings Gala

For those of you who don’t know, I am a member of the Soroptimists of the Tri Cities. The “Give Her Wings Gala” is our only fundraising event of the year. It’s an event filled with great people (not just women attend), great food and entertainment, and great inspiration when you hear the stories of our award winners. Come and join me on Feb. 27th. The 21st Annual Skating Party
